It's all a set up

All the weeks of preparation came to fruition today for the Garlic & Arts Festival...set up day.  As the saying goes, it's all done now 'cept for the shouting.  My DH had taken the afternoon off so he could help me set up.  We here in the North Quabbin area have had a VERY dry late summer/early fall EXCEPT for this morning.  The truly amazing thing is that by the time we had finished lunch, the rain had stopped and there were actually a few minutes of sun.  Looking at the radar, we now had our window of opportunity to get up to the festival site and get things set up.  Photo #1 is my DH jerry-rigging the splint on the broken leg of my canopy.  We managed to break it even before I got a chance to use it.  But that's another tale for a later date.  Things went smoothly and booth #93 is now set up and ready to have all my work put out.  Since there may be some thunder storms overnight, I did not put anything out and on display today.  My neighbor and friend Marie and I will make my booth into a showcase for my work starting tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m.  Gates open at 10.   But for me right now....time to relax and soak in a hot tub....YEAH BABY!
